In many countries the CPS is working, the old structures do not fit the social change prevailing and do not meet the requirements. Without any space for an inclusive discourse, social processes of change they might fall (back) into violence. This is were the CPS approach comes in: It promotes processes of dialogue and opens space for actors to discuss their viewpoint and get to know each other. The specific CPS approach is described in this short paper, the work in Bolivia, Ethiopia and the Philippines taken as examples. The Factsheet is also available in German.
