"Simama" is the Kiswahili word for "Stay" or "Stop" People shout it in order to keep someone from moving or leaving. But it also means “Straighten up!”, “Raise!” The clip “Simama” talks about prejudgement in Kenya, where rumours spread like fire, and the affected hardly have a chance to defend themselves.
“Simama” aims at raising awareness on the effects of prejudgement and its inherent violence.
