Can we live together in peace? Under this motto the German Development Services (DED) in Sudan in cooperation with the National Council for Child Welfare called upon children between the age 6 – 16 years to submit drawings and writings for a grand competition. The objective was to find out what hopes and wishes children invest in the peace negotiations going on between the representatives of North and South Sudan. The trilingual book presents some of the drawings and describes the work of three Sudanese non-governmental organizations.
