The training booklet “Building Capacities for Peace” is a collection of 10 years experience in providing trainings in conflict analysis, approaches to conflict transformation, Women in Conflict and Peacebuilding, Do No Harm and Early Warning Early Response (EWER). The booklet also raises the important question: “How to Become a Good Trainer”. The trainer manual was jointly developed by the CPS team and the national peace experts of the partner organizations. Feedback participants of CPS and other trainings were considered and helped the authors to find the most appropriate and attractive solutions. The booklet will give you ideas regarding participative exercises and role-plays, and it can give you hints on how to organize and design an attractive peace building training in the Ethiopian context.
