What qualifications do experts need?

Prospective experts must not only possess commitment, as well as professional and life experience. Requirements also include

  • completed professional training,
  • several years’ professional experience in a field relevant to the CPS,
  • a good command of at least one major international language,
  • an active commitment to civil society,
  • organisational abilities and negotiation skills,
  • good interpersonal skills, patience and resilience.

Further qualifications dependent on the specific area of activity are also required.

Those interested in becoming an expert must apply to the respective executing agency.
